Wazifni announces the following vacancy as part of its recruitment services for a company opening in the Logistics sector.
The Fleet Manager will plan, manage, and oversee the company’s delivery vehicles and drivers, ensuring resources are available and allocated efficiently to meet shipping and delivery requirements. The role will monitor fleet performance, maintenance, fuel consumption, and costs, and improve fleet utilization and service quality in coordination with Operations.
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Manage daily fleet operations and allocate vehicles and drivers according to operational requirements.
Monitor vehicle readiness, preventive maintenance, and repairs to minimize downtime.
Supervise drivers and monitor productivity, discipline, and compliance with safety standards.
Plan fleet capacity and ensure sufficient resources are available across service areas.
Monitor fuel consumption, maintenance expenses, and operating costs, and improve vehicle utilization.
Track performance indicators related to delivery, fleet utilization, and costs.
Coordinate with Operations and Customer Service to resolve delivery issues.
Prepare performance reports and improve working procedures to increase operational efficiency.
