The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting the company’s financial operations by maintaining accurate accounting records, processing daily financial transactions, and ensuring proper documentation of sales, purchases, and stock movements. The role contributes to the smooth functioning of the finance department by assisting in bank reconciliations, petty cash management, invoicing, and audit preparation, while coordinating closely with the Head Office in Dubai to ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting reporting requirements, and ensuring timely completion of accounting tasks across Syria, UAE, and KSA operations.
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records by accurately recording daily transactions, including sales orders, purchase orders, and stock receipts in Zoho ERP.
Manage petty cash and banking activities, including posting petty cash expenses and updating bank statements to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Prepare and issue sales invoices in a timely manner while ensuring all supporting documents are properly recorded and filed.
Support stock and inventory reconciliation by coordinating with the Head Office accountant in Dubai and ensuring accurate inventory records.
Assist in audit preparation and financial reporting by organizing documentation, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
