The Logistics Operations Manager will lead daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient coordination between warehousing, transportation, and delivery activities. The role will support the establishment of operational processes, maintain service quality, and improve delivery performance and cost efficiency.
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Plan and lead daily logistics operations across warehousing, transportation, distribution, and delivery.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures and operational performance indicators
Oversee warehouse managers, fleet managers, and operational teams, ensuring effective coordination between them.
Plan staffing and operational resources according to shipment volumes and forecast demand.
Monitor operational performance, service quality, and compliance with delivery schedules and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Manage operational budgets, control costs, and improve resource utilization.
Resolve operational bottlenecks, delays, and disruptions, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure commercial commitments are fulfilled.
Prepare performance reports and operational forecasts, and implement improvement and expansion plans.
