The Senior QA Automation Engineer (Mobile) drives the automated testing strategy for iOS and Android applications. Acting as a hands-on quality champion, this role owns test frameworks, code reviews (PRs), and CI/CD pipelines to ensure the delivery of high-performing, crash-free, and seamless mobile user experiences.
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Architect, build, and maintain scalable mobile automation frameworks (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso) integrated into continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines
Lead technical execution by conducting rigorous code reviews (PRs) on test scripts to enforce Clean Code, Page Object Model (POM), and SOLID principles
Execute automated UI, functional, regression, and performance tests across real devices and emulators/simulators for both iOS and Android
Partner with backend and mobile engineers to validate REST/GraphQL API contracts and ensure seamless integration between backend services and mobile apps
Identify, triage, and track mobile-specific defects (crashes, memory leaks, UI glitches) while monitoring test coverage to drive continuous release quality
