Job Purpose:
Ensure smooth coordination and tracking of international shipments from purchase order issuance through final delivery, while maintaining accuracy of documentation, timelines, and quantities in accordance with company procedures.
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Track and follow up international shipments from suppliers until final delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs clearance agents.
Review shipping documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading / AWB, Certificate of Origin).
Verify quantities and specifications against purchase orders and contracts.
Monitor shipment schedules and address delays or discrepancies.
Coordinate with warehouse teams to confirm receipt and update inventory records.
Maintain organized electronic and physical filing of all shipping documentation.
Prepare periodic status reports on shipment progress, delays, discrepancies, and freight costs. Qualifications.
