Software Development Senior Manager provides strategic engineering and architectural leadership within the Healthcare/RCM technology domain. This role owns end-to-end Agile delivery, optimizes product roadmaps, manages cross-functional stakeholders, and builds a high-performing engineering team while ensuring strict quality, security, and compliance.
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Architectural & Engineering Leadership: Oversee software architecture and engineering functions to ensure scalable, resilient, and modern software design.
Roadmap & Delivery Ownership: Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, translating product strategy into predictable release schedules and robust execution plans.
Team Management & Governance: Lead, mentor, and scale cross-functional engineering teams while enforcing performance metrics, KPIs, and code quality standards.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the strategic liaison to align technical priorities with IT, Operations, Product, and PMO business objectives.
Agile/Scrum Governance: Drive and mature Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies to optimize sprint velocity and eliminate team bottlenecks.
Domain Alignment: Apply Healthcare IT and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain expertise to build high-value, compliant workflows (e.g., billing, claims).
Risk & Security Oversight: Guarantee adherence to strict healthcare security standards (HIPAA, HITRUST) and minimize technical debt.
Resource & Vendor Planning: Strategic planning of headcount, budget allocation, and third-party vendor management to meet delivery demands.
