Plan, design, and optimize transport network infrastructure, including microwave, optical, routing, and security domains, to ensure reliable connectivity, sufficient network capacity, high service quality, and the successful deployment of new technologies and network expansion projects.
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Develop transport network plans, technical designs, and work orders to support network expansion, upgrades, and new service deployment.
Design and optimize microwave, optical, DWDM, routing, and IP transport networks to ensure reliable connectivity and efficient capacity utilization.
Monitor transport network performance, analyze KPIs and QoS metrics, and recommend optimization initiatives to improve service quality.
Maintain transport network databases, leased facilities records, network resources, and technical documentation to ensure data accuracy.
Coordinate with network operations, engineering teams, and external vendors to implement transport network projects and technical changes.
Evaluate new transport technologies, network solutions, and infrastructure enhancements while supporting technical feasibility studies and capacity planning.
Ensure transport network security, service availability, and compliance with operational standards through continuous performance monitoring and proactive improvements.
