The IT Technician is responsible for executing all physical networking-related tasks across client sites and internal projects. This includes structured cabling, termination, labeling, testing, and installation of networking hardware. The technician supports IT Engineers during assessments, site surveys, project implementation, and final delivery to ensure high-quality, standards-compliant installations.

Install, route, and secure structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber, etc.) according to project specifications.
Conduct cable testing, certification, and troubleshooting.
Install cable trays, conduits, trunking, and related infrastructure.
Label all cabling and components following company standards.
Ensure all physical work meets safety, quality, and industry standards.
Assist in mounting and installing: Network switches, routers, indoor/outdoor access points, cabinets and racks, patch panels, ODF, and other passive and active network devices.
Participate in pre implementation site surveys with IT Engineers.
Support in collecting accurate measurements, photos, and documentation.
Identify cabling routes, obstacles, and material requirements.
Provide input on feasibility and installation considerations.
Execute field tasks according to project plans and engineer instructions.
Coordinate with the Projects Implementation team to ensure smooth workflow.
Report progress, challenges, and completed tasks daily.
Assist in testing and validating installed systems before handover.
Support engineers in final testing and commissioning.
Ensure all physical work is clean, organized, and ready for client inspection.
Maintain tools, equipment, and installation materials.
Follow all safety procedures and site regulations.
