The Sales Engineer – Home Automation is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for smart home and automation solutions. The role combines technical expertise with strong sales capabilities to design, propose, and deliver customized automation systems that meet client needs across residential and development projects.
The Sales Engineer serves as a trusted advisor to homeowners, developers, interior designers, and contractors, providing technical consultation throughout the pre-sales and post-sales phases. This position ensures seamless coordination between clients and internal engineering/installation teams to deliver high-quality, innovative, and competitive smart home solutions while maintaining long-term customer relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities for home automation solutions.
Conduct site visits, client meetings, and deliver professional product demonstrations.
Understand customer requirements and propose suitable smart home solutions.
Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and presentations to support deal closure.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and close sales in line with targets.
Coordinate with engineering and installation teams to ensure accurate solution delivery and customer satisfaction.
